You're Not the Only One

You're Not the Only One

Are you opposed to Obama and don't trust McCain? Are you worried that all hope is lost? Do you feel like you are alone in a sinking ship? If you answered yes to any of these questions you can rest assured that you're not the only one.

According to presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin's website, a nationwide interactive Zogby poll reports that 44% said they will never vote for Obama, 42% said the same about McCain. 86% of those polled that considered themselves "very conservative" said they are displeased with the two major party candidates. Of those, 65% consider themselves "very unsatisfied".

Those are very big numbers-big numbers all made from units of one. Take your voting privelege seriously and check out all of the possibilities. The next President of the United States can make or break our country-our way of life.

Check out his message from Chuck Baldwin.

ACLU Files Suit on Behalf of Presidential Candidate

ACLU Files Suit on Behalf of Presidential Candidate

The ACLU has filed a lawsuit against the state of Massachusetts’s Secretary of State on behalf of presidential candidate Bob Barr.

According to Boston.com, the ACLU Massachusetts’s legal director John Reinstein is fighting for third party rights to ballot access. He is fighting for Bob Barr to be on the ballot. “The right of political parties or candidates to a place on the ballot bears directly on the right of citizens to vote. If parties or candidates are kept off the ballot, their adherents are compelled to vote for representatives other than those of their choice" said Mr. Reinstein.

Republicans and even more so the Democrats, are quick to tell us how important it is to them that every vote be counted. Each election cycle we are told how the parties are dedicated to ensuring that each American has the opportunity to be heard. But those proclamations are false and self-serving. If our distinguished establishment party leaders really wanted a fair election, they would cease their attempts to squash voices outside of their own. We know what they’re afraid of, but what about us? Where is our outcry? Is a hanging chad really any worse than being compelled to vote for someone that we consider the lesser of two evils? Is it right that we’re torn between our civic duty and throwing our hands up.

Why do we allow this to continue? What have we done?
